Identification of the coconut yellowing disease vector (ALC).
General objective: Control the spread of the phytoplasma bacterium that causes lethal yellowing of coconut palms (ALC) in Mozambique.
Specific objectives: detection of the presence of the ALC phytoplasma and the insect Cassyta filiformis (weed) for analysis as a potential alternative host of the ALC phytoplasma, due to its abundance in coconut plantations.
